Vehicle rentals are carried out under the following conditions:

1. Age and Driver’s License

  • Minimum age: 23 years for categories A eco, A+, B and B+; 25 years for categories C and D.
  • Driver’s license: Must hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
  • Valid identity card or passport.

2. Payment Methods

A. Rental Payment

Payment at the counter: Payment of the estimated rental amount will be required when picking up the vehicle.
It can be made by credit card or vacation vouchers.

Online payment: If you have made your payment on our website, the prepaid reservation confirmation serves as prepayment for the duration and amount indicated on it.
Any service not listed on this voucher will be charged when picking up the vehicle.

B. Security Deposit

Regardless of the payment method used, a security deposit equal to the amount of the non-waivable deductible will be required.
This security deposit must be made exclusively by credit card in the first and last name of the renter.

Deductible amounts:

  • 850 € ( VAT included) for A eco, A and B categories
  • 1100 € ( VAT included) for C and D categories

3. Rates

Included in the rates

  • Unlimited mileage.
  • Civil liability insurance and accidents caused to third parties.
  • Vehicle damage and theft insurance (LDW) with a non-waivable deductible.
  • Roadside assistance and passenger insurance (PAI).
  • Applicable VAT.

Not included in the rates:

  • The non-waivable deductible in case of accident or theft (note: failure to return the vehicle keys following its theft will result in billing for the market value of the vehicle).
  • Fuel.
  • Tire and rim damage and punctures.
  • Damage under the vehicle.
  • Loss of keys.
  • Towing costs except in case of breakdown.
  • Traffic violation processing fees and fines: €15

4. Supplements

Additional driver supplement: no supplement

Late arrival supplement: For any customer arriving after normal opening hours (7:00 PM), a fee of €25 will be charged when the contract is drawn up.

5. Optional Services and Insurance

A. Services

Baby Seat: €12 per day, maximum 5 days charged.
Booster Seat: €6 per day, maximum 5 days charged.
Delivery: Possibility to deliver or pick up the vehicle at a hotel for a flat rate of €75 per trip (€100 for deliveries and/or pick-ups in Basse-Terre and Saint-François).

B. Optional Insurance

You also have the option to partially reduce your accident deductible for €12 per day; the deductible will then be €350 (incl. tax, from 3 days of rental).

6. Contract Duration

A. Duration

The minimum rental period is understood as 24-hour increments. Any extension beyond 59 minutes will result in billing for an additional day.

B. Extension

In case of extension, the renter must visit one of the agencies before the end of their contract to regularize it. The rental company reserves the right to refuse the rental extension.
Unless an extension is authorized by the rental company, failure to return the vehicle on the scheduled return date constitutes misappropriation exposing the renter to legal action.

C. Return

The vehicle must be returned with a full tank (or with the same level as at departure). Otherwise, we will charge you the price of the missing fuel at the rate applicable in our agencies.

Any vehicle returned outside opening hours remains the responsibility of the renter. The vehicle return time to close the contract and determine the invoice amount will be the time of the next agency opening.

When returning the vehicle, in case of damage or accident with or without third parties, including for customers who have purchased the deductible reduction, a processing fee of €20 will be charged.

7. Cancellation and Refund

Regarding car rental, the customer does not have the right of withdrawal; however:

  • In case of cancellation more than 30 days before vehicle pick-up: 100% refunded minus processing fees of €15
  • In case of cancellation 30 to 15 days before vehicle pick-up: 80% refunded minus processing fees of €15
  • In case of cancellation 15 to 7 days before vehicle pick-up: 50% refunded minus processing fees of €15
  • In case of cancellation less than 7 days before vehicle pick-up: no refund will be made.

No refund will be made by our agency for the rental or supplements if they are not fully used.

8. Conditions

In case of dispute between the professional and the consumer, they will endeavor to find an amicable solution.

In the absence of an amicable agreement, the consumer has the option to contact the consumer mediator under whose jurisdiction the professional falls, namely the Association of European Mediators (AME CONSO), free of charge, within one year from the complaint addressed to the professional.

The consumer mediator must be contacted:

  • either by completing the form provided for this purpose on the AME CONSO website www.mediationconso-ame.com;
  • or by mail addressed to AME CONSO, 11 Place Dauphine — 75001 PARIS.
